Angela Muellers
Squamish, BC
Angela Muellers is a Canadian realist oil painter. Her artistic education spans more than two decades of disciplined study. She initially earned a college diploma from the Victoria College of Art, where an abstract-based curriculum provided a broad foundation in artistic practice and encouraged her to explore different approaches to visual expression. It was through this experience that Angela recognized her affinity for the technical and observational demands of realism.
She describes her practice as observing nature without copying it directly. Her primary interest lies in composing portraits, figures, and landscapes. She has also created master copies, following the longstanding tradition of artists studying past masters.
