Emiko Mizukami

Based in North Vancouver, Emiko Mizukami is a self-taught painter working in oil and acrylic. Originally from Fukui, Japan, she draws inspiration from the coastal and mountain landscapes that connect her past and present. Her still life and interior scenes explore nostalgia and memory through familiar objects—books, fruit, flowers, and vintage treasures—painted with warmth and care. Emiko has exhibited in Vancouver and Mexico and was a selected artist for the 2022 Vancouver Mural Festival.
