Ideet Sharon

Ideet Sharon is a Vancouver-based artist whose work explores themes of geometric entanglement and abstraction. After graduating from a fine arts high school, Ideet studied at the Vancouver Film School in 1997, followed by a career as a computer graphics artist and animator in the animation industry. Based in her East Vancouver studio, As an artist, she works with assemblage, bringing together disparate materials, objects, textures, and fragments to create a sense of balance and connection. This process reflects my interest in how individual pieces, stories, memories, and experiences can form a larger whole. She is drawn to the possibility that seemingly unrelated elements can create something coherent, welcoming, and alive.
